It often occurs that, even after the transfer of ownership of a Facebook page, the previous owner retains full control over it. While their name may not appear under “People with Facebook access,” they could still have access to manage the Facebook page. This situation might arise if the account retains access to Meta Business Suite, as seen in our case with user Akai Shuichi having full business account access to the Facebook Page Slash Insider.
To address challenges like the inability to link an Instagram account to the Facebook page following a change in ownership, proceed with the following steps. In this particular case, Damian Wayne serves as the new owner, while Akai Shuichi is the former owner.

How to remove the access of old user to Facebook Page and Instagram Page?
To remove access for the old user from the Facebook Page and Instagram Page, follow these steps. In our case as we stated old user was Akai Shuichi and new user is Damian Wayne.
Step 1: Go to the Settings > People.
Step 2: Select the old user and click on “Remove from business account” to revoke the access.
If you receive a “Permission Denied” message while attempting to remove the user, it’s likely because you are a new admin in this business account. This precaution is in place for security reasons. To maintain account integrity, there is a mandatory 7-day waiting period before you can remove an admin.
Kindly try the removal process again after this waiting period has elapsed. Your patience is appreciated as we prioritize the security of your business account.
